STAFFING Businesses For Sale

The staffing industry as of 2006 continues on the upswing. However, it is a cyclical business. Most staffing company owners will tell you that it cycles with the economy and begins a downturn every 5 to 6 years, and conversely an upswing 4 to 5 years after that. Of course, it depends on what specific genre of staffing you are discussing. Industrial staffing companies seem to cycle more closely with the economy and unemployment rates than say, a white collar staffing business or a medical staffing business. IT staffing businesses for sale commanded unprecedented purchase prices in the late 90’s prior to the telecom crash (as much as 20x earnings.) Now that technology is on the upswing again, IT staffing businesses for sale are in vogue again, albeit they are now commanding more reasonable market prices.
