A business for sale in this genre is one where the owner is not tied to a building lease and that can be relocated nearby to the land or building of the Purchaser’s choosing. It could be a business which has no lease, or is on month-to-month, and the seller is able to tell you whether it is feasible to relocate to another state or geographic region without losing any or too much of the volume, or key accounts. Keep in mind, unless the business is purely internet based or catalog-based, and has relatively few employees and equipment to move, some employees and accounts may be lost in the transition, especially if the business is relocated relatively far away from the current client base.
